Community Paradigm Program Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Community Paradigm Program Manager. Working across local partnerships with community and public sector leaders, the Community Paradigm Program Manager will coordinate implementation of the community paradigm approach for Herefordshire across six workstreams. 

Background context: Since March 2023 Herefordshire partners across the public and community sector have been setting the vision for a community paradigm shift, to enable community led solutions to prevention in the county. This has been discussed extensively over the last eight months, achieving widespread system support and enthusiasm and we are now at the point of requiring more dedicated programme support and coordination.  This role has been funded jointly by the partners of One Herefordshire, which includes, Wye Valley Trust, Herefordshire Council Community Wellbeing, Public Health, Healthwatch, General Practice and Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health & Care Trust.

Contact type: 12 -month fixed term contract

Hours: Full time hours

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Community Paradigm Program Manager Job Description

Community Engagement Officers

We are looking for 2 Community Engagement Officers to work on new exciting projects! On a freelance basis and working sessional hours for 6 months, successful candidates will be required to do sessional hours which within reason, could work around other fixed work.

Successful candidates will be working on one of two projects which focus on community led research and community support for frailty.

Candidates should:

  • Have experience of community engagement or a strong understanding of Herefordshire communities
  • Be confident to plan, manage and implement the project themselves
  • Be able to work a minimum of 1 or 2 full days (depending on which project they are allocated to).
